Here is the news article of the day:テつ From the News & Observer, Triangle home sales in October 2009 were up 44 percent over October 2008 according to the N.C. Association of Realtors.
I like this headline テ「竄ャ窶 it is certainly better than a decline in sales テ「竄ャ窶 and articles like this bring out questions and comments from clients and friends.テつ My first reaction, however, on any statistic like this is to dig a little deeper to see if there are any テ「竄ャナ堵otchasテ「竄ャツ.テつ
Durham Favorites
Tuesday, 01 December 2009 01:59
Looking for some adventure this past Friday, my family and I loaded up early in the morning to spend the day in Durham.ツ Having lived in Durham North Carolina in the mid 1990s, I have some old haunts I love that are still around andツwe hit some new ones also:
First stop: the Al Buehlerツtrail around the Washington Duke Inn and Golf Course.ツ This is a 3 mile or so loop around the Golf Course - it is pretty hilly but a great way to get out and get the blood flowing. Back in the old days, I used to be able to run this loop no problem. Today, not so much success although we made it around with all four kids and did get some exercise in the process.

Triangle Real Estate Market News
Wednesday, 25 November 2009 17:54
Saw this article today in the Triangle Business Journal...according to a research firm out of California, more than 6 percent of homes in Raleigh-Cary North Carolina are "underwater" - meaning the home owners owe more on their mortgages than the home is worth.
Yikes! Or is it really that bad? It depends on the statistics and it also depends on the homeowner's situation.
