Downtown Raleigh
Downtown Raleigh has experienced a renaissance. City leaders and private investors have committed dollars and energy to bring residents, businesses, entertainment and nightlife back into Downtown. Private and public investment has approached $1 billion to make this happen.
Key public works projects over the past years include the new Convention Center and the refurbishment and re-opening of Fayetteville Street - Downtown Raleigh's Main Street.
Private investors and developers have joined in with a variety of mixed use developments, condominium projects, hotels, clubs, and restaurants. Once sleepy neighborhoods just outside of the city center are coming alive as people discover the benefits of Downtown living.
Downtown Raleigh has a great mix of condominium projects and single family home neighborhoods providing a variety of life styles. With historic homes in Oakwood, bungalows in Mordecai and Oakdale, single family homes at the Village at Pilot Mill and condos springing up around Glenwood South and in the city center, there are options for you to live in Downtown at all price points.
